Thoughts of A Teacher

Fifty years from now, it will no longer matter how cute, tall, or successful I was; nor will it matter how much money I had. Yet the world might be different to somebody because I once inspired and affected this person’s childhood positively. Who knows, I might even be teaching the future president of my country… So what does matter is that we don’t underestimate the power of a teacher, because as Christina McAuliffe once said: “I touch the future. I teach.” In order to do so, a teacher should take into account her/his different roles, students’ self-esteem, students' needs and different levels of learning, student’s interaction among them as well as with the teacher, in addition to the general classroom environment...and much more.No one ever said that teaching is an easy job. Yet, we must always remember that “A teacher who is attempting to teach without inspiring the pupils with a desire to learn is hammering cold iron.” Horace Mann.

  2. What matters is that we get paid well. lol
No, that was a joke. What matters is that we get enough promotions and vacations. Oops! Another joke :p
Seriously, What matters is the influence we're going to leave in each and every student's heart and mind. We're all dying, but our influence is not.

  4. We should value and love what ever we do in this life. It is what we love that keeps us attached to life, as we live our lives pursuing what we love, and as we walk through this long journey called " life " we should be able to spread what we have learned and give others what they are waiting from us.Because after all, our deeds are going to speak about us after we die, and what will only matter is what we have planted in others heart and life!

  5. Indeed teachers touch the future by educating the next generations. Unfortunately, our society doesn't appreciate much the value of teaching and be able to see how massively it can influence the next generations! In Germany, people believe that teachers should be given all the credit because without them, we wouldn't have doctors or engineers, job positions that middle eastern societies value more than teaching. I hope that as teachers we keep on inspiring our students to always strive for more!

  8. A teacher is the pillar of the society. It is the axis around which this society rotates. The teacher is an educator and the noblest thing a person can do is to educate the new generation and prepare them for a future which will definitely be full of challenge.
